This prestigious award recognizes his significant contributions to the field of swimming training. Charlson's dedication to promoting swimming awareness programs, conducting training sessions, and leading water accident rescue operations has earned him this esteemed accolade. His commitment to ensuring water safety and imparting essential swimming skills has not only benefited individuals in Kerala but has also garnered international recognition for his achievements.


As a lifeguard employed by the Kerala Tourism Department, Charlson Ezhimala has demonstrated exceptional skills and expertise in the realm of swimming instruction and water safety. His remarkable achievements include being recognized twice as the best lifeguard in Kerala and setting a world record by teaching 124 individuals to swim in just 100 minutes. Moreover, Charlson's prowess in long-distance swimming has earned him accolades from the Universal Record Forum, further solidifying his reputation as a distinguished swimming instructor. His innovative teaching methods, which focus on psychological approaches and self-rescue techniques, have enabled him to reach a vast student body of over 15,000 individuals.


Charlson Ezhimala's impact extends beyond his role as a lifeguard, as he has established the Charison Swimming Academy across all districts of Kerala. Through his academy, Charlson continues to impart his unique swimming techniques and safety protocols to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. His ability to teach basic swimming skills in just one hour, without physical contact or specialized equipment, underscores his exceptional talent and dedication to water safety education.
