Jharkhand: Former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren to join BJP in function at Dhurva Maidan, Ranchi

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren is scheduled to join BJP in a function at Dhurva Maidan in Ranchi this afternoon. On this occasion, several dignitaries including Jharkhand BJP assembly Election in charge and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be present.

Earlier, Champai Soren had asserted that he is joining the BJP to save tribal identity and existence, which is at stake in the state’s Santhal Pargana region due to “rampant” infiltration from Bangladesh.
